Ease of Use

Putting the device on is relatively simple conceptually, but takes a little dexterity in your fingers to pull off. Closing the hinged base ring requires you to try to clamp the ring with the forefinger and thumb of one hand while the other hand is pushing your shaft down to avoid pinching.  It is not the easiest thing to do, but not unduly complicated either.

Insertion of the catheter can be painful if your urethra is average sized or smaller.  The hardest part is getting the place on the catheter where the metal head and tube meet to fully enter your hole.  Once that joint gets past the entrance to your urethra, it slides in smoothly and feels pretty good, tbh.  Until then, you will be wincing and holding your breath.

The holes where the locking post threads through are not well aligned and make putting the locking post through a chore sometimes.

Security

The catheter adds a layer of security a standard chastity cage does not have.  Because the long tube goes deep into your body, pulling your penis out under the top of the base ring is usually not possible.  I say “usually,” because one night I was at my computer typing and playing games when my penis turtled back into my body, and a significant portion of the tube bent.  When I was pulling at the sides of the base of my penis, more of the tube came out, until I was able to pull out of the top of the base ring, the tube still partially inserted.  Not comfortable, so I had to remove the cage.  I figured the problem was due to the anti-pullout ring not being small enough, so I tried to use tape to thicken the ring and reduce space inside.  The tape began irritating me within 30 minutes, and within an hour I noticed the anti-pullout ring was cutting off circulation. Not good.

Not everybody is going to have the problems I had, but if you are a grower and prone to turtling back inside your body, you probably will run into the problems I did.  So for me, the cage has value as a short term punishment device.  I say that because the stimulation from the catheter kept me aroused, while the bumpy steel end of the tube in the cage kept me from filling the small cage.

Eroticism

Plainly put, the cage is a turn-on to wear.  Stimulation of your urethra, the small size, and the thought that your keyholder controls even the inside of your sexual organs is quite exciting.

Appearance

The cage itself looks nice, but the rubber tube that protects your scrotum from the hinges is ugly and detracts from the overall looks of the device.  The screw at the end of the catheter that keeps it attached to the device instead of crawling into your body is a necessary evil but does nothing for appearance.

Craftsmanship

The locking post holes and the catheter screw, mentioned above, are minor issues, though the screw did eat through my underwear once.

Long Term Usability

If you are a shower and do not have turtling issues, you might be able to use this for more extended periods of time.   Even so, there is the matter of proper hygiene, and you must disinfect the catheter often unless you wish to risk a nasty UTI.

Short Term Usability

I think this device makes an excellent prop for scenes as opposed to 24/7 wear.  Getting your keyholder to thread the catheter into you instead of doing it yourself would add much erotic value to your BDSM scene.

Value

For what I paid for this device, it is a good value.  It did not live up to my expectation, perhaps because nobody has shared their experiences using these catheter-based devices.

Summary

If you have $40 to spare and/or have a fetish for things stuck inside your penis or love the control factor of allowing your keyholder to stick something inside your prized parts, then I suggest trying this device out.  If you are looking for 24/7 security and have a penis that can get very small or turtle inside you, then this is not for you.  I will have to defer to larger men or men that do not turtle as to whether or not the device is secure for them.

Thanks for the review Dino! I was wondering if these things worked. Sounds like a qualified yes. Perhaps if they used a tube that was a little more resistant to bending it would work better.
